SS4000E
The SS4000E seems to based (logically) around an EP80219 development board, except that it has 2 Gig nics instead of a single 100M nic. (Do not confuse it with the IQ80219 which has logically a totally different desing.). The fact that the RedBoot has a 100M nic driver instead of a Gig nic driver confirms this. This board is called EM-7210, so in the feature we will try to use that name (also in kernel patches and such). The board design can be found in the technical product specification.
The SS4000E roughly exists of the following big chips:
- PR80219: the embedded processor
- 82541PI (*2): gigabit NICs
- GD31244: quad sata controller
- JS28F256P30B95: Intel Strata flash 32MB NOR flash
- TA550C: Texas Instruments 16C550C single UART controller
- D720101F1: NEC upD720101 5 port USB2.0 host controller
- W83792G: Winbond W83792G FAN controller and temperature sensor
